jewel box: reflective conversation — cemetery visit
notes:

This week your circle will find itself in a very unique location for reflective conversation— a cemetery. Cemeteries are wonderful hideouts for quite reflection— especially if you live in the city. Open your circle’s meeting as usual with your silent time. Then take a silent walk through the cemetery for a good 20 minutes or more with your journals in hand. After you’ve completed your walk through the premise and observed the grounds, come together to discuss the topics below.

For many parts of the country this can be a very cold and blustery time of the year, so bring a thermos of hot tea or cocoa and warm, cozy clothes. Or, take your conversation to the nearest bistro or coffee shop!

topics:

What were your thoughts as you walked the cemetery grounds?
Describe your favorite tombstone.
What would your ideal tombstone look like?
What would you like to leave behind of your creative spirit?
How would you like your creative spirit to be remembered?
