Spring. A time for fresh beginnings as new life emerges from winter's deep sleep. We plant, seed and wait patiently. Spring awakens the creative spirit, fills us with fantasy and ideas. Sings energy, love and creativity.
Whether we have been creatively dormant, or simply re-energizing, spring is an opportune time to open ourselves up to our creative possibilities. The spring equinox, on March 20th, celebrates a pivotal point in the year, when the days finally begin to get longer than the nights. Spring will stay with us until the summer solstice on June 20th.
On this first spring of the new millennium, the mother i program focuses on the relationship between our creative sense of self and that of the earth's natural need to create anew. Each jewel box is centered around the spring season with the hope that each mother will realize her earthly bond in ways that will inspire her creativity. Take the time as a circle to go over the materials to prepare accordingly.
Looking ahead we open our doors and invite the the energy of the earth to do her thing. Nature as our creative mentor. Spring. It's time to plant our seeds.
