notes:
First, read the seasons message from Colleen (see below). Next, take 20 minutes of circle time to write a season's message to yourself in your journal. To get you started on this exercise, have a silent conversation between yourself and the new season as if it could speak to you. What would it say to you? What questions would you ask of the season? As you write, keep in mind what beckons you, what frustrates you, what you need, and what you want to let go. Try poetry, haiku, brainstorming, free association, mind-mapping or any kind of writing exercise to free your thinking and articulate your message. Remember to refer to your seasons message throughout the fall to inspire you to become what you dream.
Next, as a circle, discuss your creative goals for the season. As time allows, share thoughts or passages from your personal seasons message. Finally, be sure to review any other jewel boxes that need to be organized or prepared ahead of time for the upcoming season.
Colleens seasons message:
vibrant connections the creative spirit of summer. (opening summer)
I breathe in summer and I feel passion. I hear it, I sing it, I believe in it, I live it and then I paint it. Inspired by my heart! Grateful for the many who live there.
