The creative inventory meeting is a time for digging deep and finding answers that will help us understand our creative development through a selection of questions and topics related to the theme of the season. The circle selects questions and then engages in discussions from the list.

When we enter the homes of friends or acquaintances ,we immediately sense the character and personalities of those who live there. During the creative inventory discussion, we will take a look at the way we express ourselves within our environments. Use the creative inventory questions below to help guide your discussion.

suggested topics for discussions:

Describe a favorite area by using all of your senses.

Describe pieces in your personal surroundings that have been passed down to you as gifts or inheritance from family members. Describe their significance.

Do you collaborate well with the other people in your household? How do your personal relationships reflect in your home's personal surroundings?

Imagine your ideal personal environment (or room) and then describe it in detail.

How does eating and drinking integrate itself into your personal surroundings?

What do you like least about your home and what plans do you have to change it?

Compare your childhood bedroom to your current bedroom.

Describe your mother's home and personal surroundings. Can you describe any similarities they might have to your own? How about your grandmother's home?

How do you imagine outsiders feel when they come into your personal surroundings?

What types of things do you collect and display? How do you express your creativity through your collections?

Do you find it intimidating to have certain people in your personal surrounds? Describe how that feels and where those feelings stem from.
