"I find that having a religious orientation helps maintain my creative spirit -- reflect on religious literature, pray, attend Mass. Heard young children (boys) pray at Mass last Sunday with their family and I was startled. Haven't seen such devout and well behaved children in church in years. Thought I was in a different country for a moment. I'd love to sip an organic tea with another journaler to inspire me, but who has the luxury of that kind of time. My friends just about require an appointment to call them on the phone. "

"I enjoyed your writing and the connection of physical activity and creativity...which was my focus this weekend...if you can call painting physical activity. It was the most gorgeous weather this weekend and I simply enjoyed the methodical brushing of paint strokes. Sometimes I could get a whole lot painted with my big thick brush; other times, hours zipped by as I slowly did the detail painting with the small 1" brush. I was surprised that I enjoyed the slower, more detailed painting as I can often be so achievement and goal directed."

" your poll inspired me to paint my nails! In fact, I took a break during my work-day on Monday and took 5 mintues for myself to paint them. What a refreshing few minutes it was. Thanks for inspiring me to do that!"

" I loved your letter about the beginning of the solstice...isn't the extra daylight wonderful? Last night, after I biked with a friend, I came home and puttered in my garden, soaking in the beautiful night while "grounding" myself in the soil of our mother earth! Had it been winter, I would have probably been in bed (I guess that can be creative too). The sister i site really did stimulate my creative juices yesterday...and today. I looked at the silent word (start) and going to use that to create some momentum for myself around getting adequate exercise."

"I was feeling a little slump in my afternoon so I decided to check out the sister i site...this really is a gorgeous site. I took the poll, responded to the cooking quiz question (hope that was okay even if I am not a mom), and looked at some of the readings. I was pleased to see I had read a few of the books and it reminded me to get out a book on rituals that I have. I hope you are doing well."

"I find that cooking can be a creative outlet, especially if the cook pays attention to the appearance and presentation of the food."
— Vicky Ercolani, mother of one

"I appreciated that the language of the quiz for so inviting and encouraging. Even the "dormant" level was worded in a way that left me feeling like anyone taking the quiz is on her way. Good job making it so po sitive!"
—Barb Plunkett, mother of three

"What a beautiful website and a wonderful mission. Although I am not a mother (in the literal sense!), I am a woman who wants to achieve creative goals as well."
— mary ellen morris

"What a wonderful journey I am taken on when I enter the sisteri.com site. Thank you for surrounding me with beauty and addressing my needs as a creative women."
— Mary Kemp

"...the site looks beautiful and is extremely well organized. Intimate, yet not too pushy."
— Liz Tausner

"The sister i meetings bring me a sense of relief and support to be reminded that other women are struggling to find a balance with motherhood and personal creative pursuits. I love that the meeting time structures so we stay focused. And I appreciate the depth of thought and thorough planning that has gone into the jewel box sections.
