Women are the most creative at making ends meet for the needs of the family, but we often deny our own personal material needs by telling ourselves that we can't afford it. If this is your excuse for not pursuing your creative goals then create a junk box and use your creative abilities to make ends meet.
You can find the necessary materials for much less than what you'd expect. Frequenting garage sales and thrift stores is a creative experience in itself where the observant eye can find, not only the "find" of a lifetime, but unique and inexpensive materials that can be added to your junk box. I would like to suggest wallpaper and paint stores at the end of the year they get rid of old wallpaper sample books and paint chip samples. The same goes for carpet samples (12"x 14") from places like Home Depot, etc.
