The mother i website is an online resource for mothers who want to achieve their creative goals. We have created the section called "reading shelf" to provide our visitors with materials and information on the many topics that surround the subject of motherhood and creativity. We are interested in personal essays, opinion pieces and articles that address the subject of motherhood and creativity. The following are examples of some topics that would be of interest:
1. The physical role of creativity on women/mothers.
2. Building healthy relationships that support a mother’s creative journey (and getting rid of those that are unhealthy).
3. single moms and creativity.
The following are the guidelines required for submission:
1. all written works must be written by the one submitting it
2. up to 2000 words
3. must relate to the subject of motherhood and creativity
4. author can be previously published or not
5. author need not be a mom
6. accepted works will be displayed for a minimum of one season
7. mother i reserves the right to publish submitted works at any time (please refer to our privacy statement and terms of use).
