Women's stories — How Life Choices™ has inspired women like you.

Lisa
When Lisa had just one child, she worked two days/week in a job that felt perfect….challenging enough but not too stressful. But her second child was a very colicky baby and maintaining daily sanity took almost all her energy, so work seemed out of the question…let alone time for herself and her other passions. We did a visualization that introduced Lisa to her "spirit self" – that part of her that is wise and centered. Lisa saw this "spirit self" as a dragon fly’s wings, light-hearted and free. She easily took away the wisdom and specific advise for coping with her current situation. Lisa felt incredibly reassured that she was OK and felt a clarity about what she wanted to do. In the next week she took small, achievable steps to feeling better; she read for 30 minutes each day, committed to going to her dog club meeting and calling a friend to go out after the meeting. A year later, Lisa is back to enjoying her part-time work AND an active member of a mother i circle. Currently, she’s got some black and white film so she can practice her photography…one of her untapped creative passions.

Vicki
Vicki works full-time in a demanding job in the health care industry. She’s respected and successful in her company. She makes more money than she’s ever made, but she wants something more peaceful. She knows she wants to work fewer hours and have less stress, but isn’t sure how to get that in a job and still bring in some income. Vicki’s strong and disciplined mind wants a specific plan for what she will do when she quits her job. Her heart is learning to speak up for what it longs for. To help her mind and her heart work together, I led Vicki in a visualization about stepping into a river – representing the flowing path of her life. Her mind thought it would see the one "right" path. To her surprise, Vicki saw three islands in her river. She was bathed in a comforting realization that there are many "right" paths for her. The image has profoundly affected her quest to leave her current job and create a life of peaceful abundance. Currently, Vicki is cultivating her many options so that in a few months she can take the leap and begin living her ideal life.
